Getting crystal clear on who you help and how you help them is the basic foundation of any successful business. If you aren’t clear on this, you better put on the brakes, sister, because you aren’t going anywhere yet.
Get clear on the PROBLEM you help solve and the OUTCOME you can help your clients achieve.
Now DON’T skip this next part…..
DO. YOUR. MARKET. RESEARCH.
If you don’t know what people are actually wanting and needing, then how in the world do you think you can create something they… You know… Actually WANT and NEED?
You won’t be able to. So do this first. Do not pass GO!
I also speak to so many people who are trying to get clients and yet they are so general in their business idea and who they help….
“I help people have a positive mindset”
But what does that even MEAN?!?!?
Why do people want a positive mindset? What is the benefit to them? Who needs a positive mindset? How are you going to help them get a positive mindset? What is it that keeps them in pain? What are their ultimate, pie in the sky goals that they reeeeally want?
Instead, turn that around and get crystal clear..
“I help stressed and burned out nurses learn to love their jobs again by helping them with a positive mindset”
Do you see how that is a bit more clear on who you help and what you help them with and how that will connect with an ideal client much better than the former?
MARKET YOURSELF LIKE A BOSS
Psst. Let me tell you a secret. Every single client you could ever need is right here on Facebook. Yeah, they’re also on Instagram, and many are on LinkedIn…. But for the most part, focusing on Facebook to get clients is going to be your best bet.
Pick ONE platform to focus on! Goodness, I cannot stress this enough… Because otherwise you are going to spread yourself way too thin and you won’t be able to focus on actually making money (getting clients).
Show your stuff, guys. Put out magnetizing content that inspires, tells your story, and educates. Aggregate those pain points, make people realize THEY HAVE A HUGE FREAKING PROBLEM and they need you to fix it!
Again — Be as clear as you can. Speak directly to your ideal clients! You want them to have all those glorious, “OMG YOU GET ME!” moments.
It’s ok to be polarizing. The ones who hate you for it, well, good riddance…. But the ones who LOVE you for it? They will love you that much more.
So don’t be afraid to be YOU and speak your mind. You are the expert, after all.
SELL LIKE THERE’S NO TOMORROW
Work on your sales and money mindset.
Get convinced that your offer and genius zone are top notch and that people are BLESSED to be able to work with you because YOU have the solutions to their problems.
If you aren’t convinced in what your offer brings to the table, how in the world will anyone else be?
You have to KNOW that your clients will be better off after working with you than they were before. Do you really believe that about yourself? If not, you need to really be asking yourself the hard questions.
If you don’t trust yourself to get results, how in the world will your clients trust you enough to pay you and work with you for however many weeks or months?
